Meet AB
Some memories deserve to live somewhere.

Hey, it’s me, AB. Photographer, storyteller, film lover, and the person behind On a Roll with AB.
I’ve always been a little obsessed with keeping memories. Before I ever picked up a film camera, I was the girl reaching for a disposable instead of my phone. There was something about not being able to see the photo right away that made the moment feel a little more real. You took the picture, kept living, and waited to see what you got.
In 2021 I got my first film camera, and I was hooked. I learned everything from scratch: how to work the camera, how to read the light, how to trust my eye, and, most importantly, how to accept that sometimes you completely miss the shot.
So I figured, why not learn with people? In 2022 I started Sip & Shoot with Amara: drinks with friends, new faces, creatives, and anyone willing to let me put a roll of film through my camera. It was supposed to help me build a portfolio. Instead, it taught me what I actually love about photography.
People. The conversations before the camera comes out. The weird ideas that somehow turn into the best photos. The moment someone sees a photo of themselves and says, “Wait… that’s actually me?”
That’s still my favorite part. The people. The energy. The story. Executing a vision.
On a Roll with AB
On a Roll with AB started with film, but it was never just about the camera. It’s about the feeling, and about making something you can hold.
Film makes you slow down. You don’t get unlimited shots or an instant preview. You trust your eye, trust the moment, and let the photograph become what it’s supposed to be. That’s how I want you to experience your photos, too.
I don’t want them buried in a folder somewhere between screenshots and 47 versions of the same selfie. I want you to have photographs. The kind you print. The kind you frame. The kind that deserve billboard space. The kind you find years later and suddenly remember exactly who you were, who you loved, and how it felt to be there.
From 35mm film to our vintage-inspired photo booth, I capture the people, parties, love stories, milestones, and brands that deserve to be remembered, with feeling, personality, and a little bit of grain. Whether it’s a wedding, a couples session, a graduation, an event, a portrait, or a brand project, you can expect a collaborative experience, an editorial eye, and images that feel like you.
Whether you know exactly what you want or simply how you want it to feel, we’ll create it together. Your vision. Your people. Your story. I’ll bring the film.
So, what are we putting on the roll?
